Mont Cascades is a great little ski hill just outside Ottawa and perfect for a quick day trip. It’s not the biggest resort around, but that’s honestly part of the charm. Everything feels close, easy, and family-friendly, which makes the whole experience pretty relaxed. The runs are fun and well maintained, with a good mix for beginners and intermediate skiers. If you’re looking to get a bunch of laps in without spending half your day on lifts, this is a solid spot. The lines were reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. What I really like about Mont Cascades is how accessible it is. You can leave Ottawa and be on the hill pretty quickly, making it ideal for a spontaneous ski day. Overall, it’s a great local hill and a fun place to spend a winter day. I’ll definitely be back this season. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Hills were in great condition and the skiing was amazing. The lifts went up and not too bad of a speed. The food was a bit more expensive than I would’ve hoped for but still quite good for ski hill. Prices 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Excellent ski hill. Lift tickets are pretty reasonable and line waits arent too bad. Max wait time was around 5 mins, most of the time was around 2 mins. We skied saturday and sunday, on sunday afternoon we had no waits for any lifts. Slopes weren't too crowded and plenty of parking close to the main lifts.

Came here with my family on December 22 and had an enjoyable time. Although some runs were closed, the conditions were good for a fun day of skiing. Given that this was my first trip here, I wasn't sure what to expect, but after a positive experience, I would come back.

I think it's the best layout in the Ottawa valley. Nice long runs, lots of night ski terrain, chairlifts are nice and layed out well. No bar for apres ski (which is a big downside), and it's a bit awkward to get to if you plan to ski at night due to having to cross the gatineau river (if you're coming from downtown).

Well groomed hill with plenty of staff to help along the way! No wait at any of the 4 lifts open & really enjoyed the music playlist while sitting on the lift! Beautiful spot for a picture with the Gatineau River in the background! There was some confusion on when the last lift was but we did go on NYE which is a holiday. One staff member said 3:45PM, their IG story said 5PM & the sign at the lift said 8PM. Aside from that it was an awesome experience!

Great water park. A handful of rides for kids and adults. The park was packed the day we went and we had to rent a gazebo for 90 CAD to get a decent spot for our group. But this was probably not the norm. Plenty of food options around. For some reason most people were going on to the outside one, but if you go to the building on the right side of the resort they actually have pizza sandwiches and snacks and there was hardly a line up there because I doubt people knew about it. There are also changing rooms in multiple locations in the resort. Lineups move relatively fast. Service was good and tons of parking. Overall a great time

A good mix of runs for this size hill so you don’t get bored doing the same run. I do miss the old chalet that had a stone fireplace in the centre of it - had a nice rustic feel. The new one is nice too - modern but they tried to preserve the wood/cottage look. The cafeteria food is pretty bad though. Worst pizza crust ever - for such a staple, that should be improved. Penne with meat sauce was very soupy. The chip stand gets good reviews though. Cost to ski was $151 for one adult and two youth for a four hour pass. They should eliminate the $5 per card fee for the lift passes like Edelweiss did.
